Backstory

Born in Bukyo on Hingashi's island of Koshu, Takehiko is the youngest son of the Tanaka clan, a clan of infamous Raen swordsmen in the employ of the ruling Mitsurugi clan. Growing up with such illustrious bakufu connections, Takehiko was afforded an excellent education, both scholarly and military. Idle in the relative affluence of his home, he began challenging his brothers to combat for sport. Then other members of the Tanaka clan. Then other swordsmen in the bakufu's employ. Such contests eventually saw the Mitsurugi clan assign him a menial post within the far off Kugane, to get him out of their hair.The ploy worked beyond their wildest imaginings, however. Exposed to all manner of folk and their fighting styles, in the port city, it wasn't long before Takehiko begged leave to study new combat techniques abroad. Swiftly granted, Takehiko immediately threw himself into the escalation Doman rebellion, testing his might against everyone from Garlean machines, to his distant Xaela kin from the Steppe. Eventually taking up with the rowdy pirates of Limsa Lominsa, he brawled his way to Eorzea, where he makes coin as a sell-sword, all while challenging anyone who will take him, learning new fighting styles that impress him, while haughtily abandoning those he easily overcomes.

- An RP style of long term and narrative driven is preferred. But, short term and one shot RP is still welcomed.- Mature RP and shenanigans are ok, just don't be rude, and don't be weird about it. In light of that, or other things that may come up, ranging from alcohol to darker themes, I ask that players and characters both be over 21.- RP over Discord (Auberon) preferred. In-game is also ok, I'm just hard to schedule around, sometimes.
